About
AI ethicist. Critical voice. Global classroom.
I translate what the algorithms are actually doing into language any leader, journalist or parent can act on - from MIT Horizon to BBC, from boardrooms to 710K+ followers worldwide.
Who is Catharina Doria?
I'm an AI ethicist and digital rights educator. My work sits at the intersection of technology, policy, and culture, translating what is happening with AI into language any leader, journalist, or parent can act on.
Over the past years, I've educated millions of people about AI, algorithmic bias, surveillance, and data protection from keynotes at MIT Horizon, TEDx, VTEX Day, the Spanish Ministry of Work, and São Paulo Innovation Week, to features in the BBC, CBC, Forbes, Fast Company, and Folha de São Paulo.
In 2023, I was named one of the 100 Most Brilliant Women in Ethical AI™. I hold an M.Sc. in Business Analytics and Big Data, and I built The AI Survival Club to turn critical AI literacy into a global, ongoing practice.
